This month’s NIH Research & Consulting (NIHR) Staff Feature is on Randy Bernard! Randy is a great asset to our clients. He brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare technology to our team.

Why are you passionate about the Healthcare Industry?

Healthcare is one of those dynamic industries that’s ever-changing. New innovations and solutions are being developed all the time and the opportunity to bring these to our clients is always exciting.

What do you enjoy most about working with NIH Research & Consulting clients?

When we engage with our clients, we are true partners. They know we care about their business as much as they do. They depend on us. We give them the best intel available about those opportunities. That makes working here really fulfilling.

What do you like most about the NIHR culture?

It is truly a fun, family type atmosphere, and everyone supports each other. We truly care about each other’s successes. I look forward to the work I do every day.

What do you appreciate about working with the NIHR Leadership Team?

Robin and Cindy really respect people and are professional to the core. I’ve primarily worked under Robin. She’s encouraging, supportive, empathetic, and fosters an atmosphere that allows people to grow and reach their potential. She hits the right mix of allowing people to spread their wings and is there for support when needed.

What do you think is your biggest business strength?

I definitely have a style. My ability to engage in a real world down-to-earth manner and infuse conversations with humor in the right places is key. People appreciate not being inundated in a hard sales approach. If you listen to what they say, engage in plain language, and earn their trust, they’ll want to do business with you.

What are some successes or milestones you’ve achieved at NIH Research & Consulting?

With my business development background in healthcare and IT, I was able to ramp up very quickly and have brought in several million in business for our clients in a short time. When I succeed, our clients succeed. I am persistent.

“Randy is a rare find. Being well versed in the market with a sharp strategic eye and unassuming while summarily effective are some of the extraordinary traits that make Randy a distinctly valuable member of the NIHR Team. Randy is highly sought after by colleagues, clients and project managers alike as he brings a “next level” element of expertise and insight to all campaigns with which he is associated. We are delighted to spotlight Randy as our NIHR Staff Feature.” – Robin Day, Managing Partner, NIH Research & Consulting
